I’m using vitero for online language courses for foreign students. In vitero everything known from face-to-face seminars has been very well translated into a virtual solution. For example, vitero offers great possibilities for meta communication. I find it particularly important that vitero is very easy to use, both for tutors and students. In foreign-language teaching vitero is excellently suited for exercises referring to verbal expression and listening comprehension. Moreover, the sessions benefit from vitero’s capability to make for great variety and liveliness. Involvement, motivation and concentration of participants is extraordinarily high. And despite the contact of participants ‚only’ being distant, personal relationships among participants are fostered.
