vitero is a young enterprise specialised in IT solutions and concepts with a focus on synchronous Web-based communication. But being young doesn’t mean being inexperienced! vitero is a spin-off company of Fraunhofer IAO, one of Germany’s leading research institutes in the field of information technology and work organisation.

Particular fields of application of vitero’s products are live e-learning, e-collaboration and virtual conferencing. vitero’s central objective is to constantly improve the design of the human-computer interface to allow intuitive usage of Web-based solutions for online communication and collaboration. The vitero team consists of experts in information technology, Web design, usability, and cognitive psychology. By means of prototypes developed by Fraunhofer IAO different virtual settings for online communication and collaboration were created that resulted in a software solution capable of supporting users from different locations effectively when communicating with each other over the Internet.

Apart from the implementation of the vitero products in user organisations, vitero offers training seminars for people who want to learn how to moderate virtual meetings, consulting, and evaluation. vitero also provides customer-specific adaptation and extension of the modules of the vitero product series.
